I used this gorgeous fabric to cut out some motif's to attach to singlets and rompers for a friend who has just had a little baby girl. Hand stitching them on gave the best results. I think they turned out quite good.

A dress for my Niece
I made this dress for my niece from a pattern I got at the op shop, I think it turned out ok, hopefully it fits her as I didn't have any of her measurements.

First attempt at Applique
Here is my first attempt at applique, a little wizard on connor's PJ top to match the pants I made last week. I think it turned out ok.
Thanks to Kylie for all the tips, made life so much easier.

On a roll
I made these pants today, thought I'd try out my new machine, they were such a breeze to make on a machine that works properly.... I'm hooked!
This is a back view of the pants, aren't these the cutest little pockets.
The whole outfit. It looks so great on.

PJ's and other pants
These are the pants I have made over the past 2 weekends. I love having an overlocker, it makes things so much easier and neater.
All of these were made on the old sewing machine as I only got my new one today.
Some very cute PJ pants
These are a fine corduroy with cargo pockets, its hard to tell from the photo
Old Machine / New Machines
My new machines, thanks to my darling husband.
This is the machine I inherited from my Grandmother, its an Empisal.
Don't know exactly how old it is but guessing from the fact that the instruction book has gone practically see through from age and the fact that I never saw her use it I'd say at least 30 years old. And it's really heavy too!!
